For a newborn baby choose size 1 nappies which fit from around 7lbs to 20lbs (approximately newborn to 9 months). All size 1 nappies now come with a separate tongue as customer feedback suggested that the sewn-in tongue's absorbency wasn't needed on a newborn and was too bulky on a small baby. Add the tongue for extra absorbency when baby's feed increases.
The size 2 nappies fit babies from around 20lbs to 38lbs.
